NHL Rumour Report: Draft floor trade rumblings

Quick hit rumours on NHL draft day.
- Lots of trade rumour buzz on the draft floor in Nashville. Here are a few nuggets.

- The Canadiens are fielding offers on the 5th overall pick. High picks don't get moved often, so take that as you will.

- The Bruins are still talking blockbuster with teams around the league. One of their vaunted goalie tandem of Linus Ullmark or Jeremy Swayman could be on the move, which would certainly send shockwaves through the draft floor. The Devils could be a team to watch here.

- Other cap clearing moves could include Matt Grzelcyk, Derek Forbort or Mike Reilly.

- The Flyers are listening on pick #7, but are likely looking to move up if anything. They continue to get a ton of interest in defenseman Travis Sanheim.

- There is chatter that multiple teams trying to trade up have their eyes on Matvei Michkov, including the Flyers and Capitals.

- The Predators are also trying to trade up in the draft from their current slot at 15th overall.

- The Ducks are hiding in the weeds; lots of rumours that they are trying to do something big on the draft floor tonight. A lot of people wondering if they might surprise with their pick at #2 overall: will they go with Adam Fantilli or could they surprise with Leo Carlsson or Matvei Michkov?

- The Leafs continue to talk trade with teams about William Nylander and are scouring the market for defenseman. Among the potential targets are the Flames' Nikita Zadorov, Noah Hanifin and Chris Tanev, and the Flyer's Sanheim.

- The Red Wings have re-emerged as a frontrunner for Senators winger Alex DeBrincat.

- More on the way. Enjoy draft night!
