Plenty of buzz from around the NHL with the trade deadline just hours away.
- Vancouver has gone back and forth several times on whether they're going to sell or stand pat for a playoff push. They're leaning towards selling once again. Brock Boeser and Conor Garland are the two big pieces here, with Garland slightly more likely to get moved. Smaller pieces like Tyler Motte and Luke Schenn could go as well.
- Not sure if this is a deadline deal, but there are reports suggesting Devils goalie Mackenzie Blackwood is looking for a change of scenery. Rumours suggest there is a bit of a frayed relationship with Devils management, who have now begun looking at the goalie market for plan B.
- Mark Giordano is one of the top defensemen left on the rental market, and there's plenty of interest in the veteran Kraken captain. Toronto and St. Louis seem to be at the front of the pack.
- Detroit defenseman Nick Leddy is starting to generate some buzz. Pittsburgh is a rumoured contender.

- The Rangers continue to shop backup goalie Alexandar Georgiev. He's floundering as a backup to Igor Shesterkin and both sides are looking for a way out. But the Rangers will need to find a goalie to replace him first. Could Vegas be a fit for Georgiev?
- Still waiting on Filip Forsberg. Talks are stalling and teams have begun calling. I still think he probably gets extended, but both sides are playing hardball. Not much time left to sort it out. If he's not signed, he'll be traded for sure. Nashville hates losing assets for nothing.
- It sounded for a while like Marc-Andre Fleury was staying put after all, but a new contender has emerged: the Wild. Toronto, Washington and Edmonton have kicked tires.
- There's a bit of buzz around Habs center Christian Dvorak. A number of teams, including the Wild, have kicked tires.
- More updates throughout the day. Here we go folks!
