Here are some trade deadline 'sleeper' picks to keep an eye on this week.

So you're saying there's a chance? Here are 7 big names to watch:
- Jonas Brodin - There's a storm cloud forming in Minnesota, and it won't a total shock if the Wild GM Paul Fenton decides to blow it up this week. Brodin's name has been in the rumour mill for years now.
- Jonathan Huberdeau - This is likely linked to the Panthers pursuit of Artemi Panarin. If they can get Panarin, they'll have to move out some salary. Huberdeau is a rumoured possibility, despite the organization's denials.
- Hampus Lindholm - I don't know why exactly, but Lindholm is in the rumour mill. Even for a rebuilding team like the Ducks, these are the types of players you want to keep. Lindholm has another three years at $5.2. The Ducks do have young depth on defense, which could be the (somewhat faulty) reasoning here.
- Chris Kreider - Every year he's always mentioned as a possible trade candidate, but never seems to move. With the Rangers now fully into a rebuild, this could be the year. As a UFA after next season, New York may look to cash in now.
- Jonathan Quick - Is he available or not? Teams keep calling on him, and the Kings are ready to rebuild. If Sergei Bobrovsky moves, keep an eye on Columbus as a potential landing spot.
- Dustin Brown - The Kings have long wanted to move Brown's contract, and he's started playing well again. The Stars have come up as a possibility in the past.
- Tyson Barrie - Mystery surrounds Tyson Barrie, who never seems to stay out of the rumour mill. Best guess is a number of contentious contract negotiations have frayed relations here. The Panthers, Islanders, Canucks, Oilers, Jets and Leafs have come up as rumoured possibilities.
