Rumoured destinations for the top players available at the trade deadline are starting to emerge.
- Evander Kane - He's moving. Who gets him is anyone guess, but Calgary, Pittsburgh, Anaheim, Minnesota, Nashville and the New York Islanders are rumoured landing spots.
- Erik Karlsson - 55/45 he moves before the deadline. Tampa, Vegas, Nashville and San Jose are in the mix. Tampa sounds like the frontrunner, Nashville sound like a longshot. There are multiple teams which nobody seems to be able to pin down yet.
- Max Pacioretty - It's 50/50. LA seem to be pushing pretty hard, but Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Nashville, Calgary, Florida and Minnesota are in the mix.
- Patrick Maroon - 90/10. Hard to see him not on the move at this point. St. Louis, Boston, Toronto, Tampa, Winnipeg, Pittsburgh and Nashville have all taken a look.
- Thomas Vanek - 85/15. Vancouver wouldn't mind keeping Vanek, but they'll likely ship him out to a team like Anaheim, or someone who strikes out on the top wingers.
- Mike Green - 90/10. Unless there's an injury issue, Green is getting traded. Tampa, Toronto, Nashville and Vegas are among the known contenders.
- Ryan McDonagh - 55/45. Rangers are being coy; may let this go into the summer. Possible landing spots include Tampa, Toronto, Boston, Anaheim, Washington, Florida.
- For the rest I'll simply list which teams have been connected to certain players; it's not clear how likely they are to move.
- Luke Glendening - Dallas.
- Tomas Tatar - Nashville.
- Josh Leivo - Detroit.
- Mike Hoffman - St. Louis, Carolina, Boston.
- Ryan Spooner - Yes, he might get moved again. Carolina, Vancouver, NY Islanders, San Jose, Vegas, New Jersey.
- Matt Cullen - Pittsburgh.
- Zack Smith - Calgary.
- Brock Nelson - Vancouver.
- Antoine Vermette - Pittsburgh.
- Jeff Skinner - Arizona, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Calgary, Chicago, Ottawa.
- Robin Lehner - NY Islanders.
- Brock Nelson - New Jersey, Vancouver.
- Cody Ceci - Edmonton, Tampa.
- JT Miller - Pittsburgh, St. Louis.
- Chris Tanev - Dallas, Toronto.
- Slaten Koekkoek - Boston, Ottawa, Vancouver.
- Sam Bennett - Anaheim.
- Ryan Hartman - Winnipeg, Edmonton.
- Nick Bjugstad - Vancouver.
- Again, I am not saying these players are moving to those teams, or even moving at all. But this is where the rumours lead us.
