Quick hit on goalies...a lot could happen in the final hours leading up to the deadline.
- The Flyers might become last minute sellers as they find themselves behind the pack in the Eastern playoff hunt. Among those who might be on the move - pending UFA goalies Steve Mason and Michal Neuvirth. Edmonton, Calgary and San Jose are possibilities.
- The Islanders seem to be up to something today. Keep an eye out for a trade.
- Might it have to do with Jaroslav Halak, who has played very well since being demoted to the AHL? Teams are interested - including the Oilers, Flames and Sharks.
- Don't forget about Marc-Andre Fleury too. A decision on that might not be made until tomorrow, but it's interesting to note he doesn't get the start tonight against the weaker opponent in a back to back situation. Protecting the asset just in case? The market for Fleury isn't big, but you have to think there's at least one team willing to listen.
