A few quick rumour notes as we approach free agency:
- Is pending RFA defender Tyson Barrie still available? Talks have once again stalled between Barrie's camp and the Avs, and some wonder whether this one might be headed towards a trade despite reports and statements of optimism from both sides.
- A couple new names that have cropped up in trade rumours the past few weeks: Nick Foligno, Evander Kane and Michael Hutchinson.
- A few names that haven't been talked about much but are definitely still out there: Derek Stepan, Tobias Enstrom and Dennis Wideman.
