Rumours out there suggesting the Rangers have a deal in the works and it could be for a forward. In other Rangers rumblings, some believe defenseman Raphael Diaz will head back home to Switzerland.
Keep an eye on the Penguins and Bruins, who are still after defenseman as of this weekend.
It's believed the Sharks are another team looking to add a depth defenseman either via trade or waivers.
One player who's getting a bit of traction is Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn. The Flyers are asking for basically nothing in return and may in fact put him on waivers this week as a last resort.
This is already out there, but the Blues are a team keenly interested in adding another top 6 forward and a player that interests them is Flyers forward Brayden Schenn. The Blues would be willing to move Ty Rattie for an upgrade, but Philadelphia is by no means the only team they're talking to.
UPDATE: Expect the Leafs to trade or waive one of their defensemen in the next 48 hours. Some are saying Roman Polak's name is out there, and Stephane Robidas seems like a guy who could end up on waivers.
